Zhangjiakou News (reporter Guo Tao) Alibaba Zhangbei cloud computing data center two temples project started the groundbreaking ceremony, recently Zhangjiakou Zhangbei Economic Development Zone Temple Beach Industrial Park held.

It is understood that Alibaba Zhangbei cloud computing data center two Temple Beach project is the first by Alibaba to buy land, build their own computer room and facilities, operate their own big data projects. The project has a total investment of about 6 billion yuan, of which 200 million yuan is invested in computer lab buildings and ancillary facilities. The project occupies an area of 200 mu in Miaotan Industrial Park with a total construction area of 115,000 square meters and a building capacity of 100,000 servers.

According to reports, the project is expected to be put into operation in April 2018. It will not only provide strong infrastructure support for Aliyun's business development, but also lay a foundation for the successful establishment of the "Digital Dam" project in Zhangbei and provide guarantee for the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Integrated Digital Development Experimental Zone.
